ASD Assessment
As a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) and autism specialist, Dr. Marsh conducts autism assessments to identify behaviors and characteristics associated with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) including what is considered “high functioning autism” or Asperger’s syndrome. She works with adults, and specializes in assessing women. Dr. Marsh analyzes how a client’s history of behaviors aligns with the diagnostic criteria for ASD through guided conversations and formal and informal autism tests. This usually requires 2 sessions of 60-90 minutes each. Sessions are via telehealth using Dr. Marsh’s confidential Client Portal. You will need access to a phone, tablet, or computer which has internet access and a microphone and camera, which most devices come equipped with. Following the completion of the assessment Dr. Marsh will write an in-depth, comprehensive report with the assessment results including diagnostic impressions and recommendations. A third session is scheduled to share the results and to answer any questions. You will receive two hard copies of the report by mail, and a PDF of the report via email attachment. In addition, you will receive a subscription to Dr. Marsh’s monthly e-newsletter, PIPS NEWS, which includes articles and resources for autists (autistic adults), as well as a copy of one of her books.
