It was an honor meeting Dr. Temple Grandin at the Future Horizons Autism Conference where we both spoke on May 24, 2019. Her talk was on “Calling All Minds” and she shared her unique perspective and brilliant insights. I enjoyed talking about my book, The ABCs of Autism in the Classroom: Setting the Stage for Success. After lunch, Dr. Jim Ball, BCBA-D spoke about his book, Early Intervention & Autism, which has so much valuable information beyond early intervention. He also gave us a sneak peek at his upcoming book, You Can’t Make Me. I learned a lot and had a wonderful time, too. Thanks, Future Horizons, for your another awesome autism conference!
